Yuki Usagi ~The Snow Rabbit and the Bunny Gang~ DIGITAL CROCHET PATTERN

For this project you'll need:

Suggested materials:
* 3 mm and 4 mm crochet hook with medium-weight yarn (4/Worsted) in white, green and pink (or three different colours of your choice for the body and ears of your bunny, and the flower or bow accessories)
* Safety eyes or two small red buttons and a small piece of red sewing thread or a super thin yarn to attach the buttons
OR
* A small piece of yarn or embroidery floss in red and in pink (or any colours of your choice for embroidering the eyes and nose)
* Sewing needle (if you're using buttons for the eyes) 
* Tapestry needle
* Pin needles (to help attach the parts)
* Stitch marker
* Scissors
* Stuffing fibre
* 1 small pompom
OR
* Pompom-making tool (optional - you can make your pompom using anything you have, like a fork or even your fingers)
* Blush makeup (optional)

Yarn information:

For this project, I used:
* Medium-weight yarn (4/Worsted) Bernat Premium/Bernat Super Value 100% acrylic from Yarnspirations
* Medium-weight yarn (4/Worsted) Caron Simply Soft  100% acrylic from Yarnspiration

Size:

The approximate measurements of my finished pieces are:
 – Traditional form: 7 x 4 cm, with ears measuring about 5 cm
 – Regular form: 10 cm from the top of the head to the base of the body, with ears measuring 6.5~7 cm
However, the size of your finished item may vary depending on your yarn tension and the materials used.

My abbreviations (based on US terms):

* MR - magic ring
* ST - stitch
* SL ST - slip stitch
* SC - single crochet
* HDC - half double crochet
* DC - double crochet
* INC - increase (2sc in the same st)
* DEC - decrease (sc 2 together)
* BOB - bobble stitch
* (  )xNUMBER - number of times you have to repeat everything inside the brackets
* [  ] - total number of stitches on the row
* PICOT - picot stitch (you can check a video-tutorial for this stitch here: https://youtu.be/liA_Z9vi3Fk )

Tips:

* If you're unfamiliar with any crochet stitches used in this pattern, try searching YouTube for "stitch name + tutorial." You'll find plenty of beginner-friendly, detailed video guides.
* Rows without a mention of a chain between them are worked in continuous rounds. To keep track, use a stitch marker to mark the last stitch of each row.
* In crochet, yarn over (YO) and yarn under (YU) refer to how the yarn is wrapped around the hook when making stitches. Yarn over (bringing the yarn over the hook from back to front) is the standard technique and is used throughout all my patterns unless stated otherwise. Yarn under (bringing the yarn under the hook from front to back) creates tighter stitches and a firmer fabric. Using yarn under instead of yarn over may result in slight differences, such as a smaller final piece, more visible slip stitches, and a firmer, less soft texture.
