The shop now offers digital products and commissioned works ONLY. Physical products such as plushies and printed artwork are available exclusively at the local markets I sporadically join or through my Patreon.
Now, as some of you might know, the whole point of my social media presence was, at first, to share my progress in digital art and build a portfolio for my illustrations. Of course, it didn't take long for me to mix crochet in the bundle, and eventually, due to my frequent burnouts with art and the undoubtedly higher-quality and more compelling amigurumi content, I guess the main focus of my Instagram account naturally shifted. So, I want to officially address that and explain the changes in my social media content.
TLDR, I decided to embrace the shift and make the main focus of my brand officially crochet and handmade crafts. I'm not giving up on digital art. But my last extended hiatus gave me enough time to analyze my patterns (not the crochet ones 😅) and rethink things.
Going through my old posts, I realized I mention "burnout" almost once every 2-3 posts! 😂 Which means I'm pushing my creativity to the limit and killing it with the pressure. Also, my burnouts are becoming longer, and I'm never fully recovering. It got to the point that I started feeling an ick to the idea of drawing. It just became a stress-inducing chore that made me get stuck in my learning process, which led to significant frustration with the quality of my art. I want to continue drawing, learning, improving and occasionally posting my art. However, I want to do it freely and at my own pace, which I learned is much slower than my initial expectations.
At this point, the majority of my following is probably crochet-related. But I feel really sorry for those interested exclusively in art content. So, although I've been hinting at that for a while, I wanted to clarify it one last time: if all you want is to be art moots, please don't feel pressured by any means to stay.
As for everyone else, I appreciate each one of you being around. And I hope to keep inspiring you all in one way or another. 🌷
