Thank you for choosing my design. It was made with much love and care! I hope you enjoy it!

For this project you'll need:
Suggested materials:
* 3.5 mm crochet hook with medium-weight yarn (4/Worsted) in two different colours of your choice for the bunny and the head bow
* Two small pieces of embroidery floss, super fine weight yarn (1/fingering) or fine weight yarn (2/Sport) for embroidering the nose and eyes
OR
* Small red buttons, safety eyes or even felt (to make the facial features)
* Stitch marker
* Scissors
* Tapestry needle
* Pin needles (to help attach the parts)
* Stuffing fibre
* 1 small pompom
OR
* Pompom-making tool (optional - you can make your pompom using anything you have, like a fork or even your fingers)
* 1 small jingle bell (optional)
* 1 small feng shui coin (optional)
* Blush makeup (optional)

Yarn information:

For this project, I used:
* Medium-weight yarn (4/Worsted) Color Craft / Soft Classic  100% acrylic from Loops & Threads

Size:
I got a finished piece measuring approximately 13 cm from the top of the head to the base of the body and 6.5 cm for the ears. Please keep in mind that the actual size of your finished item may change depending on your yarn tension and the materials used. Make sure you adapt the size and placement of the eyes if you use different sizes of hook and yarn.

PATTERN (LEVEL: BEGINNER)

My abbreviations (based on US terms):
* MR - magic ring
* ST - stitch
* SL ST - slip stitch
* SC - single crochet
* INC - increase (2sc in the same st)
* DEC - decrease (sc 2 together)
* TR - treble crochet
* (  )xNUMBER - number of times you have to repeat everything inside the brackets
* [  ] - total number of stitches on the row

Tips:
* If you don’t know how to do one of the crochet stitches used in this pattern you can search on YouTube for “name of the stitch + tutorials” and you’ll find some super easy and detailed video tutorials for beginners.
* The rows where I don’t mention doing a chain between them are worked in continuous rounds, so it’ll be easier if you use a stitch marker to mark every last stitch from the row.

1) Head and body (2.5 mm crochet hook / Light weight yarn (3/DK) in the colour of your choice for the whole bunny)
R1: 8sc in the MR [8]
R2: (inc)x8 [16]
R3: (sc, inc)x8 [24]
R4: (2sc, inc)x8 [32]
R5: (3sc, inc)x8 [40]
R6-R9 (4 rows): 1sc in each st around [40]
R10: (sc)x18, (inc)x4, (sc)x18 [44]
R11: (sc)x18, (sc, inc)x4, (sc)x18 [48]
R12-R14 (3 rows): 1sc in each st around [48]
R15: (4sc, dec)x8 [40]
R16: (3sc, dec)x8 [32]
R17: (2sc, dec)x8 [24]
Stuff the head thoroughly with enough fibre to shape it properly. Accommodate the fibre well, pressing it with your hands to better define the whole shape.
If you're using safety eyes, you should attach them now. If you're using buttons or embroidering facial features, you can do it now or after finishing stuffing. Pay attention to attaching it properly, though. The part where we did the increases on R10 and R11 makes the rabbit's muzzle, so make sure to attach the face close to it.
R18: (sc, dec)x8 [16]
R19: (inc)x16 [32]
R20: (inc)x7, (sc)x24, inc [40]
R21: 1sc in each st around [40]
R22: (sc, inc)x7, (sc)x25, inc [48]
R23-R24: 1sc in each st around [48]
R25: (2sc, inc)x7, (sc)x26, inc [56]
R26-R28 (3 rows): 1sc in each st around [56]
R29: (5sc, dec)x8 [48]
R30: (4sc, dec)x8 [40]
R31: (3sc, dec)x8 [32]
R32: (2sc, dec)x8 [24]
Stuff the body thoroughly with enough fibre to shape it properly. Accommodate the fibre well, pressing it with your hands to better define the whole shape.
R33: (sc, dec)x8 [16]
R34: (dec)x8 [8]
Fasten off, close the hole and hide the yarn tail.

2) Ears: make 2 (2.5 mm crochet hook / same yarn used for the whole body)
R1: 3sc in the MR [3]
R2: (inc)x3 [6]
R3: (sc, inc)x3 [9]
R4: 1sc in each st around [9]
R5: (2sc, inc)x3 [12]
R6: 1 sc in each st around [12]
R7: (3sc, inc)x3 [15]
R8: (4sc, inc)x3 [18]
R9: (5sc, inc)x3 [21]
R10: (6sc, inc)x3 [24]
R11-R13 (3 rows): 1sc in each st around [24]
R14: (2sc, dec)x6 [18]
R15: (sc, dec)x6 [12]
Fasten off the yarn leaving a tail. Fold the ears and sew them to the top of the head.

3) Tail: (2.5 mm crochet hook / same yarn used for the whole body)
The rabbit's tail is a simple pompom made with white yarn. If you have a pompom maker tool you can use it and have it done really easily. But, if you don't, you can use anything to wrap your yarn around it, like a fork, or even 2 fingers. It has to be something small, so your rabbit tail is proportional to the body.
How to make it without the pompom maker tool:
1 - Wrap the yarn around a fork, or 2 fingers, several times.
2 - Then, release the wrapped yarn from the tool, carefully not to undo the wrappings.
3 - Now, cut another piece of yarn, measuring about 30 cm. Use this piece of yarn to make a tight knot on the yarn you previously wrapped, transversally.
4 - Then, cut the edges of the wrapped yarn. Hold on to the yarn tails you used to make the knot before, so you can use them to sew the pompom to the rabbit's bum.
5 - Now, you just have to trim the ends to better shape your pompom and adjust it to the size you want.
Tip: the more yarn you wrap, the fuller the pompom, which makes it look rounder and better as a tail.
Now that you have your pompom, just sew it to the rabbit's bum using the yarn tails you left. If you're using a pompom you bought, you can try to sew it with a small sewing needle and thread or glue it.

4) Bow: (2.5 mm crochet hook / Light weight yarn (3/DK) in the colour of your choice)
MR, (ch5, insert 5tr in the MR, ch5, sl st in the MR)x2. Close the ring and fasten it off leaving a long tail.
Wrap the tail a few times around the center of the bow and make a knot on the back. If you're attaching a jingle bell to it, just sew it using one of the yarn tails. Use the remaining yarn tails to tie the bow to one of the rabbit's ears.

5) Finishing touches:
Now you just have to assemble the ears, if you haven’t yet, and apply some blush makeup to the bunny’s cheeks and the inner part of the ears to make it cuter .
If you want to add a feng shui coin to the bunny’s collar, just use a piece of red yarn to tie it and make a knot on the back of the collar. You can also do a few chains and use them to tie around the bunny’s neck like a collar.
